Just a little over five years ago we found ourselves, like a lot of people today, facing a very difficult financial situation and wondering how we were going to pursue the life we had always dreamed about. We had risked everything on a restaurant project that really was a great idea but our timing was off. We lost our condo, our savings, and found ourselves deeply in debt. At that point someone introduced us to Pre-Paid Legal Services and we got started on a part-time basis, but soon noticed the potential of this great opportunity and decided that Mark would work it full-time and Ilvene would support us with her job in Children's Protective Services for the County of Los Angeles. We started attending all the briefings, trainings and corporate events and focused a lot of time on personal development books and tapes, especially those by Jim Rohn and Brian Tracy.

We slowly started to develop a team of partners while we also focused part of our time on group sales to generate some cash flow. Since Ilvene is a fluent Spanish speaker, we found a huge market in Southern California for companies that wanted presentations in English and Spanish for their employees. Every presentation increased our belief in the product as we enrolled family after family who really needed our services.

We are proud to have marketed over 1600 memberships personally, but we are even more proud of the team of fantastic people that we have the pleasure of working with through sharing the business opportunity. Working with friends and helping others on the path of success, while at the same time building the foundation of financial independence for our family, has been our greatest joy in being part of Pre-Paid Legal Services. Our team continues to welcome new associates every month that we sincerely care about, and our vision of where we are going is constantly expanding.
