Darryl Campbell

(Bronze Executive Director)

I spent many years working at jobs that never paid me enough to have the time and financial freedom I had always dreamed of. Then, I found Pre-Paid Legal or actually Pre-Paid Legal found me. Pre-Paid Legal gave me the opportunity to work for myself at my own pace. There was no pressure, no quotas. Best of all, Pre-Paid Legal provided a great product to sell and paid commissions daily.

My daughter, Dawn, is a Director in Pre-Paid and receives passive overrides from "her business" that help fund her university education. Dawn would like to be a doctor and I want her to be able to do that not because she has to but because she wants to. Under the old plan I was going to ensure she got through all of her schooling and then she could look after me. Now I've been able to retire early and still am in a position to ensure she gets her education. "Thanks Pre-Paid."

About Darryl

He was raised on a farm in southern Ontario and grew up with an understanding of hard work. He recognized the value of working hard at the right times, you sow in the spring and you harvest in the fall, you can't put those out of order.

Darryl had a distinguished 28-year career as a police officer in Toronto. Speaking from a position of experience, he stated "This product is long overdue. The average person in our society cannot access most legal services because of the severe expense associated with legal representation."

Darryl has watched hundreds of families make poor and uninformed decisions regarding important legal matters. Personal financial realities are often the deciding factors as to whether legal representation is possible or not. As a police officer, he had been called to attend many homes during family crisis. His experience has shown that most family crisis is not a policing matter; rather, the crisis usually requires the council of the legal community. At this point, he had often heard similar responses:

  • * a) We do not know a lawyer.
  • * b) We cannot possibly afford a lawyer.
  • * c) The problems are not that big YET!
  • The Quote is "EQUAL JUSTICE FOR ALL", but in today's society it really means AS MUCH JUSTICE AS YOU CAN AFFORD.

Pre-Paid Legal Services has afforded Darryl the ability to retire at his earliest possible date and now he believes that he can help more people faster than he ever did on the police force. Obviously this is at a different level of service, but it's all about helping people, making a difference while making a living.

Darryl believes the real key to this business is keeping it simple, you learn how to become a senior associate and then you teach others how they can become one as well. If you do that enough times you will reach the highest levels in this company and reap all of the rewards that go with reaching that level of success. How long should it take to accomplish? Everyone is different, it's not a race but a marathon, and it is all about finishing. The only way that you can lose in this business is to quit. If you won't allow quitting to be an option then you can't lose.
